Dr. Ali Safar, MD

Ali graduated from Kuwait University with 2 bachelor degrees, one in Basic Medical Sciences and another one in Medicine and Surgery. He joined McGill general surgery family in 2019, and he is currently a chief resident. Ali is interested in bariatric and metabolic surgery, surgical endoscopy and minimally invasive procedures. He participated in clinical research under the supervision of Dr. Amin Andalib. After completing his residency, he will pursue a fellowship in Advanced GI MIS and Bariatric Surgery.
