This presentation will focus on the nutrition causes of insufficient weight loss, and weight regain after a Sleeve Gastrectomy.

Included will be:

A revision of the eating habits to promote for the optimization of the Sleeve gastrectomy
The most commun challenges and misstep in my experience
Strategies and Perspectives to lower the incidence will be proposed.

Evelyne is a graduate of the University of Montreal and has been a member of the ODNQ (Ordre des diététistes-nutritionnistes du Québec) for more than 15 years. Her passion for the bariatric field ignited after a brief internship at the Institut Universitaire de Pneumologie et Cardiologie of Québec. Following her bachelor's degree in nutrition, she decided to pursue a second degree with a specific focus on the psychology of eating.  

Additionally, she obtained a certification in the Principles & Practice of Interdisciplinary Obesity Management for Dietitians through the Canadian Obesity Network & Dietitians of Canada.

After many years in Quebec's public health system, she and her husband founded "Parlons Bariatrique": a virtual clinic exclusively for those considering or who have undergone bariatric surgery. Furthermore, she has published three books, including one tailored to guide individuals on proper dietary practices post-bariatric surgery.  

Harnessing her expertise, interpersonal skills, and wealth of experience, she actively engages with the public through social media platforms, striving to dismantle the stigma surrounding bariatric surgery.

For Evelyne, the role of a nutritionist-dietitian in bariatric surgery transcends mere discussions of a balanced diet; it embodies a specialized field intertwining medical, social, and psychological aspects of nutrition.

Despite being a French speaker and not having perfect English, Evelyne is fully committed to giving her all for this presentation on The Management of Partial and Non Responders Post Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy.
