Dr Mirna Azar completed her medical training in Internal Medicine at Université de Montréal and her specialty in Endocrinology & Metabolism at Mcgill University. She furthered her training in the field of obesity with one-year post-doctoral training at the Ottawa Hospital Bariatric Center of Excellence. Dr Azar is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Dr Azar practices at Hôpital du Sacré-Coeur de Montreal, which is a teaching hospital affiliated to Université de Montréal, where she works jointly with the bariatric and metabolic surgery team.
